Job Outline: Sheet metal

Experience:
Work history experience in HVAC sheet metal or general sheet metal fabrication preferred.

Work Hours:
Day Shift: 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
2nd Shift: 3:30 p.m. - Midnight

Pay Range:
$12.50 - $15.50/hr
Shift Differential: $2.00

Capabilities:
Should have some knowledge of various types of sheet metal (galvanized, aluminum, corten steel, stainless steel). Ability and a working knowledge in the operation of basic hand tools (grinder, drill motor, rivet gun, hammer, tape measure, etc.) to perform various assembly tasks as relates to sheet metal work. Familiarity with metal cutting equipment (hand shears, reciprocating saw, plasma cutting torch, oxygen/acetylene torch, band saw, and cut-off saw) helpful but not required.

Ability to read and follow blueprints helpful.

Able to understand instructions and carry out tasks as required by supervision.

Able to lift up to 50 lbs., in repeated bending and stooping motions.

Able to keep work area clean.

Describe activities performed daily and account for them in the current timekeeping system.
