Observation
Lounge
The
luxurious glass domed lounge creates a cruise-like atmosphere
with gracious mezzanine overlooking a lower level piano bar.
This singular car provides an opulent focal point for the whole
"Golden Eagle" train featuring; themed bar areas,
dance floor, piano bar, gaming area, library, spa with hot tubs,
theatre, offices and lobby area.

Dining Level
This same car design is utilized for the dining car; the dome
level has seating for up to 76 in 4-top configuration as well
as a food service area. The lower level accommodates a full-length
stainless steel, hotel style galley.

Glass
Dome
Triple laminate 6 by 6 ½ foot windows with five inner
layers of reflected and tinted material that reduce solar gain
by 62%. Glass meets FRA specifications and is projectile resistant.

Utilizing
two full floors of 1,600 square feet - 35 to 57% more floor
space than conventional bi-level railcars.

Open
Platform
Optional open platform on the lower level is available in a
variety of lengths. Polished stainless steel guardrails provide
added safety. Optional ADA wheel chair lifts are available.

Rest
Rooms
Two
restrooms in each car, one being ADA accessible. Full sized sink and
toilets with Corian cabinetry and mirrors. Stainless steel retention
tanks under car.
ADA
The
car has ADA accessible aisles on both levels. A wheelchair accessible
elevator to the observation lounge is available.
Construction
Corten
tubular steel in a bridge truss design. Corten sheet steel sides.
HVAC
The
Bi-level Dome carries 40 tons of air conditioning in four individual
units located under the car on slides for convenient track-side maintenance.
Only the controls are located in the car. A sealed Manurup compressor
is featured.
Trucks
Trucks
are GSI low clearance style with inside swing hangers and spring plank
conversion. New or rebuilt trucks are available.
