Job Outline: Electrician

Experience:
Minimum Journeyman level experience preferred. Equivalent trade school in electrically related field of work considered. Experience in Industrial Electrical construction techniques a plus.

Work Hours:
Day Shift: 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
2nd Shift: 3:30 p.m. - Midnight


Pay Range:
Master and Journeyman $17.00 - $21.00 / $22.00/hr
Shift Differential: $2.00


Capabilities:
Ability and basic knowledge in the operation of hand tools (grinder, sander, drill motor, rivet gun, reciprocating saw, hammer, tape measure, pipe threader, pipe bender, etc.) for tasks of assembly or disassembly. Familiarity with primary electrical tasks (conduit installation, junction box installation, wire pulling installation, terminal block and final wire end termination’s) required. Assistance to other disciplines may be required.

Electrician applicant must have basic hand tools of the trade as minimum equipment.

Ability to read, understand, and work from detailed blueprints required.

Able to understand instructions and carry out tasks as required by supervision.

Able to lift up to 50 lbs., in repeated bending and stooping motions.

Able to keep work area clean.

Describe activities performed daily and account for them in the current timekeeping system.

Pre-employment Requirements:
Must be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of the above experience and a written test will be required.
